Here are a few of the photos from the first night with the Outex waterproof housing. I have been wanting to try to get shots like these for a long time and as I expected they are kind of hit or miss. For these shots I set myself up on the swim platform of the committee boat and shot as the boats sailed by on the way to the starting line.  Obviously the underwater parts of the photos would be more dramatic if I was in the Caribbean but as you know if you have ever sailed in Buzzards bay the water is a little less than clear. Aside from that though I am pretty happy with the photos and I am looking forward to getting out there again tonight and giving it another shot.
